ABOUT THE ARTIST

Pipi Pango is a singer/songwriter who began streaming his original music in 2018. Although Pipi Pango has made a name for himself in the music industry, he originally attended the National Film School/Sound Training Centre in Dublin. This background in music production provided the perfect foundation for his future creative endeavours. Inspired by artists such as Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, U2, Coldplay, Kanye West and P. Diddy, Pipi Pango combines a number of compositional elements to create an authentic sound.

To date, Pipi Pango has five singles: ‘Jah Jah’, ‘Totori’, ‘Solomon’, ‘Street Love’, ‘Lagos to London’, and one EP: ‘Love, Money & Power’, in his online discography. Some of his most successful tracks include the likes of ‘Solomon’, amassing seventeen thousand three hundred streams, ‘Totori’, gathering over seventeen thousand three hundred streams, and ‘Street Love’, with thirteen thousand streams.

With more than seventeen thousand regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that Pipi Pango has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans who will be eager to hear his upcoming EP.

Our featured single, ‘Shake Body’ by Pipi Pango, is out now and is available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The chosen artwork for the single is a tribute to the DJs out there who are “making people shake their body”. The track lasts three minutes and forty-five seconds and sits at a steady 96bpm. ‘Shake Body’ begins with an eighteen second instrumental introduction that features a catchy melodic hook and subtle vocalisations; implementing a partial crescendo to build anticipation for the implementation of the vocal. 

The vocal color is stylistic and partially effected; seamlessly synchhinsiing with the upbeat rhythmic flow of the instrumentation. Harmonised backing vocals are systematically dropped into the mix and add a richness to the production. Nigerian artist, producer and entrepreneur Pipi Pango presents his new EP, Love, Money and Power, under his own label Omo Arutu Entertainment. The project consists of 4 exclusive tracks that each feature an array of unique sounds including Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, trap, alternative and pop. The EP’s opener, “M.O.N.E.Y” finds Pipi getting to the money as he encourages us to get on our jobs as well. Keeping the adoration flowing on Love, Money and Power he proudly professes his love to a special lady on the endearing, upbeat “Street Love.” On the third track, we’re met with “Driving Too Fast” that urges us to slow down in our course of life to really be present and take back our power.

PIPI PANGO RELEASES NEW SINGLE "SOLOMON" feat. KAY FLAME

Afrobeat artist Pipi-Pango joins forces with Kay Flame to create their latest collaboration titled “Solomon” that’s a hypnotic, Afro-infused track to dance and vibe to. On the pulsating track, the two come together to blend a mixture of reggae, pop, soul and Hip-Hop, creating a feel-good rhythmic sound. 
  
Pipi-Pango’s rugged and raw delivery adds to energy of the sound and gives the song an urban edge while keeping an island feel. Kay Flame also fans the flames on the hook that’s super smooth and melodic. “Solomon” isn’t the first time Pipi-Pango and Kay Flame collaborated on the track. Their previous song “Totori” was also upbeat, lively and carried a heavy Afro-beats sound. Needless to say, when these two artists link up, they are bound to hit one out of the park and bring nothing but heat.
