BIG JON DROPS HIS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED EP ALBUM, HERE I COME

BIG JON DROPS HIS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED EP ALBUM, HERE I COME

Big Jon an up-and-coming Hip Hop artist hailing from Baltimore MD, is proud to announce the release of his highly anticipated debut EP, Here I Come. The project which marks a significant milestone in his musical journey, features six original tracks written, performed and recorded by Big Jon himself. Available now on all major streaming platforms, Here I Come showcases Big Jon's passion for music, storytelling and his dedication to the art of Hip Hop.

Born Jonathan Harris, Big Jon discovered his love for Hip Hop at the age of 12 and has been crafting his unique sound since the age of 16. Inspired by legends like Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Eminem, Jay Z, Kanye West, and others, Big Jon set out to leave his mark on the genre, combining raw lyrical skill with a dynamic flow and storytelling that resonates with listeners. His musical influences also include R&B and gospel with his background as a member of his church choir playing a key role in shaping his vocal and performance style.

Big Jon’s EP Here I Come contains six powerful tracks: Rise Again, Sponsor, Spirits, Powers, No More, and Don’t Judge Me. The songs were crafted with heart and soul, recorded at SongBuilder Studios in Baltimore, MD, with Powers being recorded at Lounge Studios in New York City. The EP stands as a reflection of Big Jon’s growth as an artist, and his desire to make a positive impact on the music industry with high-quality, meaningful content that focuses on lyrics, flow and emotion.
I feel there is a lack of quality in Hip Hop right now where some are focused only on the money and not the artistry. For me, it’s all about the craft—the lyrics, the flow, the storytelling,” says Big Jon. “I want my music to speak to people, to touch their hearts and minds, and to inspire them. This EP is my way of showing the world that Big Jon is here, and I’m ready to make my mark.”

The release of Here I Come comes after Big Jon spent years pursuing a degree in Media Production at Towson University and working in broadcasting. However, after five years in the industry feeling unfulfilled, Big Jon returned to his true passion: music. The loss of his mother to pancreatic cancer in 2021 has also fueled his desire to honor her memory and make her proud by sharing his music with the world.

I’m doing this for my mom,” says Big Jon. “She always supported me and believed in my talent. I want to make her proud by showing the world what I can do, and with this EP, I’m stepping into my purpose.”

Fans and listeners can stream Here I Come on all major platforms, and Big Jon is excited to share his journey and music with his growing fanbase. As he sets his sights on the future, he is ready to prove that Big Jon is a force to be reckoned with in the world of Hip Hop.
